A little Christmas fun...

My mom...the woman that lives and breathes in thinking about sweet things to do for the grandkids gave each of the families a gingerbread house for the kids to decorate.

Rich and April invited us over for Family Home Evening so that we could build our houses together.

I had such a great time...even though I had to keep giving April crap that she is ditching us here in Utah this weekend to go and spend some time in Hawaii with her sister. Somehow that just doesn't seem fair....but whatever. ;)

As I was taking photos of the kids having so much fun I actually got a little weepy as I sat enjoying the wonderful family that we have, and the fact that they love their cousins so deeply. (Dang PMS hormones!)

Even though there are days that my boys...especially...drive me nuts, there isn't a day that goes by that I don't thank my Heavenly Father for sending us such a large and lovely family!

I love that picture of Aaron. Classic. Your hair looked awesome last night btw. And yes you do have a bucket addiction! But you decorate them so cute!!

Oh, Kristy! Those are some of the best looking gingerbread houses I've seen. They are awesome! And isn't family such a great blessing? It's times like the holidays I wish I could be getting together with mine and making gingerbread houses too. Dang this living 2,000 miles away business! I LOVE these pictures, though, they're awesome!

And yes, when I get a spare minute I'll email you my photoshop steps...I promise I haven't forgotten. Oh yes, and I don't know if I told you that I received my little package and LOVE it, thanks so much!

I agree, family is such a wonderful blessing!
I hate living so far away from family, but I enjoy all the little moments with my own husband and kids.
The gingerbread houses look great and what a good idea for FHE, maybe I'll have to steal it :)

Very fun. I keep saying I will buy one of those kits at Wal Mart but I'm too lazy to want to make one! hee hee!

That look on Aaron's face just cracked me up, then I read your post and got weepy too. See all you have to do is say you got weepy and I do. I'm so emotional, damn Lee genes!
