I Love To See The Temple....

Man, what a great day it ended up being yesterday. Even though "team B" (the boys) were into everything, drawing on the walls (JM), whining that they were sick (Aaron - which ended up being legit!), I had such a great day.

Last night Tracey and I were able to go to the Mount Timpanogos Temple together for the first time in way too long. It was just one of those days where I had a prayer in my heart all day long that Tracey would get some of the answers that he would need to fine tune the next version of the RNG, so that it will be a success, and that we will be able to continue to provide for our needs, help others, and save for the boys' missions as well as for our own mission.

Sometimes when I go to the temple I'm just not in the right mind set to be there, or I'm anxiously counting down the minutes until we're done and I can get back to the kids, but last night was so spiritually satisfying to me that I could have sat next to Tracey, in the celestial room contemplating things all night long.

As soon as we got out of the temple I turned to Tracey and asked him if he figured out his technical problems that he wants to perfect and he laughed and said "it's not that easy".

I just turned to him and said it's not going to take long and I have full faith in that. He smiled and said thanks.

I also have to thank Jana from the bottom of my heart for being so willing to come and sit with the kids while were gone even though she had to put up with a whiney Aaron and not feeling good herself. It totally means so much to me. Love you girl.

Thanks for sharing. It is always nice to hear someones testimony of the temple. Glad that Jana is close enough that you can share baby sitting once in a while.

Yeah thanks. I needed to hear it. I told you it's the least I can do. Same goes out to you Michelle. I will take your kids anytime for a temple trip. I have this urgency that everyone needs to go, not so much for the benefit of the dead but for personal refuge! Love you. So glad you had a nice time.

What a great experience. I feel the same way about the temple. It's just getting from point A to point B that is the hardest once you are there it is like everything stops and nothing trivial really matters anymore. Good luck with fine tuning the RNG. And one more thing..you are so awesome for being so frank about your weight loss goals and how you are doing each week. Oh yes and ONE more thing....you are NOT so awesome for telling Ron to come photograph in my DIRTY kitchen. ha ha ..just kidding at least it got me to clean the dang thing. ;)

I am so glad that you got to attend the temple. I have been wanting to go for so long, but it just seems impossible with so many kids! It is such a wonderful, peaceful place.

We went last night too, and I was in the same mind set you were. We haven't been for so long that it we almost "new". It just made me happy to be there. Plus cause I got an answer to something that has been bugging me for awhile. It's just nice to go somewhere that you can shut out the whole world.

When Dan and I went to the Rexburg temple a few months ago I had a very spiritual experience. Not like I saw angels or anthing. I just had such a wash of peace come over me that I had only felt a couple of times in my 57 years of life. I wanted to just stay there forever. I am sure it was a small small taste of what Heaven must be like. I am glad you could feel that peace as well. Thanks for your testimony!

Kristy,
So glad you & Tracey were able to go to the temple! I love the peace & clarity the temple brings! Thanks for sharing about your experience. I love that you're calling your boys "team B." We always call our 3 older kids in school "team A" & the 2 younger ones at home "team B". It's just easier to say!

Oh how I love the temple and the Mt. Timpanogos is so beautiful and I know that when I sit in the celestial room, that my sweet Steven is right there with me. I really miss him. It will be 4 years on Nov. 18th. What a wonderful reunion to look forward to. I think I'll go to the temple on Friday. Thanks for sharing that with us.
