Please vote! and a little Weigh In Wednesday!

Apparently as has been brought to my attention by one of the parents that had a child disqualified from the Nick, Jr. contest there were some unknown factors involved in resulting thousands of votes for at least her child.

I do owe "J" an apology as it apparently wasn't her fault that her child was disqualified Hopefully that was the same situation with the other two children and if Nick has mistakenly disqualified these children I hope they will put things right. I do feel badly as anyone that knows me knows I would never intentionally set out to hurt the feelings of anyone. So, lesson learned! Think before I type!

Anyhow, THE GOOD NEWS IS, it isn't too late to HELP ALIZA WIN! Please, if you've got the time, go to the Nick, Jr. website, look for the photo above and cast your vote! If we get enough of us together, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Now as far as Weigh In Wednesday goes, I've had the worst gain that I've experienced in a VERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRY long time. I'm up 2.2 pounds. It just frustrates me that the minute I start exercising I start packing on the pounds. But frustrations aside, I LOVE the way I feel, I LOVE the sense of accomplishment in running and pushing my body to it's limits.

Unfortunately this past week, I obviously pushed too far and I am currently suffering from a running injury. Honestly today I can barely walk. I thought I was pretty much healed up so merely went out for a walk last night and half way through thought I was going to die. TOday is even worse. I'm actually quite heart broken and have cried because I just want to run. I want to be healthy. I want to look good.

I will not get discouraged over my weight gain and as soon as I am able I am going to pick myself up, brush myself off and get on track to those size 8's!

Oh no! How sad! that is my biggest fear, so I am stretching like mad and doing yoga on non running days to help prevent a problem. I didn't stretch yesterday after my treadmill run and I am so paranoid...I am doing yoga right now( as soon as I get off the internet)I haven't lost any weight either running 16 miles per week. What a bummer. I haven't gained weight, but it isn't going anywhere, I totally thought I'd lower my weight running that much. I am even watching what I eat and not overcompensating for my workouts. Everybody says they gain weight when they start running, so hopefully it starts coming off.

OMG, I have been voting and watching that photo of the little girl sitting in church on Sunday with all her Nick Jnr. toys sitting beside her. Man, her score was MASSIVE. Cheating anyone or anything NEVER works. I am still voting for 'our' little girl and will keep doing so. I do so hope she gets something out of this. I feel sorry for the others whose parents cheated. Not only did they cheat the system, more importantly, they cheated their little ones out of this wonderful prize. It's not the parents who are going to suffer, it's their kids :-(.

Sorry to hear of your weight gain. I am holding steady since the summer and no matter what I do I cannot drop that 7lbs. It's frustrating and disheartening.

Stay with it Sistah!!!

Kristy I am sorry you are still hurting. Just be careful not to do too much until you are healed. I know how that is and I don't want you to end up like me an old lady with arthritis.

I'm a cheater? I am the mother of one of the removed contestants. I was just googling the contest to see if I could find some information as to what was going on and found your page. I did not cheat. I have NO idea why my votes were so high. I think my picture was great and accurately showed my daughter being a super fan. I know I had an enormous amount of people voting for her – but not enough to warrant thousands of votes so quickly. Before you go blogging about cheaters and things…maybe you should have had more of an open mind. It hurt my feelings to see those words written about me by a complete stranger.

Thank you for your revision, I really do appreciate it. I especially noticed the change in your title and that was the best part. Good luck with the contest - maybe I'll start voting for Aliza since I can't vote for my own child! Again, I appreciate the time to revise your own personal blog - shows you weren't out to intentionally hurt anyones feelings (might I add a fellow scrapper?!?). Thanks :)

Thank you "J". I really was sad today that I may have caused you hurt feelings!

I'm sorry that things didn't work out for your child.

Sort of makes you wish that it was a random drawing.

You should check out Aliza's moms blog if you are a scrapper. She's giving away $100 worth of scrapbook stuff!

Have a great day!
